We met the way any great love story should begin, at a Golden State Warriors game back when they still played in Oakland. At the time, we were both working in hospitality, bonding quickly over a shared love for good food, great drinks, sports, travel….and maybe a little healthy competition.

8 months later, we made it official, and San Francisco became the back drop to our story.

Over the next eight years, we built a life filled with late night takeout, spontaneous trips to Napa and Tahoe, big career moves and adventures around the world. Somewhere along the way, Norman joined the crew and immediately took over as the real main character. He’s been by our side through every chapter, reminding us to slow down, stay grounded, and appreciate the quiet moments between the big ones.

Why Portugal?

Portugal has always felt like more than a destination for us. Shane’s family roots trace back there, and the connection between Lisbon and San Francisco, sister cities across the ocean, made it feel like a beautiful extension of our love story.

With its warmth, history, incredible food, stunning coastline, and a culture that celebrates gathering around a table, Portugal felt like the perfect place to bring together the ones we love.

So here we are, taking you across the world to celebrate love, family, friendship and the beginning of forever.
